Just Ask Questions!

I had such a nice email this morning. Someone wrote to me via my website, asking my advice on a challenging patio design. I felt she was going in the wrong direction and taking the wrong approach. Sometimes people want an easy and inexpensive solution. However, if landscape design is not thought out properly, often the project does not turn out well and the expense turns out to be much more than anticipated.

My advice was to start over. She wrote to me explaining that she did take my suggestions and decided to hire a landscape architect. I am sure this will lead to a great design and a cost effective one too.
